Tips for your visit

Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your stay in Paris.

Paris Rive Droite (eastern Paris)

Be aware that many old Paris buildings are not equipped with elevators. Air conditioning in Paris is also rare. There is a wide range of hotels available, from simple accommodations to luxury palaces. Booking your lodging well in advance is highly recommended, especially as the Olympic Games will be held in Paris a month later.

If you're staying longer

If you're visiting the city for the first time, don't miss the classics: the Eiffel Tower, the Sacré-Coeur, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, the Palais Garnier (National Opera), the Musée d'Orsay... This city is rich in culture and history, and there's plenty to see and do!

If you want to visit the main tourist attractions, be sure to book your place in advance. You can consult the Paris Passlib if you plan to make several visits.
